date format for user variable

Hi
I am having difficulty with the date format of a user variable that I've added
to a report.
I've created a user variable as a date range only format (not date time) and I
have the checkboxes for "Request From User" and "Allow User Values" checked on.
When I preview the report, I get two date input boxes (with associated calendar
controls) showing up OK. If I try to edit the dates in the textboxes for either
FromDate or ToDate, the resulting values are a little strange.
For example, when the report previews, both the FromDate and ToDate text input
boxes show 23.06.2014 as todays date. If I change 2014 to 2013 by changing the
4 to a 3, the result that gets displayed is 23.06.22031.
The date chooser control does seem to work just fine, but not typing text into
the date chooser text boxes.
All of the globalization settings that I am aware of are set to English-US
The designer I am using is Stimulsoft.Web 2014.1.1900 and the OS I have
is Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.
The Dot Net Framework version is 4.5.1.
I hope someone can help!
Thanks,
Carl
