Creating reports and dashboards | Stimulsoft community forum

Hi,
I'm new to the report Inheritance and am just wondering if the following behaviour is correct.

I create a Base report called the Master Report which has my connection and some Data Sources Defined in it.

I then want to create new Reports based on this Master Report as it has my connection and data sources predefined.


In the New report I create from the master report, when I drag data sources from the dictionary onto the page the Data Bands say they are not assigned. Also when I try to create a Master-Detail Report. I cannot select the Relation from the Detail Band as they don't seem to be listed even though they are part of Data Source.


Am I approaching this scenario correctly or should I just be creating a copy of the Master report for editing?

Please send your report to support for examination. Report inheritance is new feature and it very hard for realization. So it will be work stable only after some time.
