When using a TextInCells component, the property panel doesn't have an option for text format but if I click on the box itself I get the mini icon for changing the text format. Using this works, I can see the intended changes when preview the report. However, the moment I save the report, close it and then open it again this configuration is lost.

I would argue that it is because the property panel doesn't have the option, which I think is much needed. I tried closing the report, editing the XML data in the .mrt then opening it again, this loaded correctly with the text format. But again, once I saved and reopened, the text format was gone.

Unfortunately, the TextInCells component does not support Text Format. We will analyze the issue and will make changes.

We have made an improvement. The Text Format now will be available everywhere.
This will be available in our next prerelease build from February 27.
