Export formulas to Excel

Hi Aleksey

Sorry for all the questions at the moment, we are doing lots of implementation involving Stimulsoft Silverlight version.

I downloaded your sample that shows how the Excel Value works in the Export options of a text control. I can't get it to work.

I even tried a very simple example of putting a text control on my report, setting the format to Numeric, and then in the Excel Value I entered:

= 2+3

My understanding is that in the exported Excel file, the cell should contain a formula of = 2 + 3 and the cell should display the result of 5.

Every time I try to use this feature, the exported Excel file doesn't contain a formula in the cell and the cell is empty.

Can you help me to understand how this should work?

Hello.

Could you specify what version of our product do you use?
Do you use pure Silverlight or Client/Server version?

Thank you.

Hello,

We made some improvements in that direction.
Please check the next prerelease build when it will be available and let us know about the result.

Thank you.

Thanks Ivan

Does that mean the feature does not work in the current and previous versions of the Silverlight control?

Thanks

Matt

Hello, Matt.

This feature was implemented in our main product. It's Stimulsoft Reports.Net.
We have added this feature in Silverlight version just now.
It will be available in our next prerelease build March 6.

Thank you.
