Browser applicaton. Wpf designer crashes with exception

Hello,

Please see an attached solution.
It contains two projects with simple similar code which calls StiReport.DesignWithWpf().
The first is a Wpf application and works properly.
The second is a Wpf Browser application and throws an exception when the mouse pointer hovers over the tool box.
Exception details:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception' occurred in Unknown Module.
Additional information: Cannot create a top-level child window.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello,

There are some problem in the xbap technology.
Unfortunately, on current moment we couldn't find a solution. We have added this task to our to-do list, but I cannot say when it will be available.

Thank you.

I tried disabling the tooltips but that didn't seem to make any difference. I still get the "unable to create child window" exception when hovering the mouse over any part of the toolbar in the report viewer. It does not matter if the report viewer is set to internal or external window either.

We are getting close to a release deadline and need this upgrade to fix an issue with printing in Windows 10. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
