Hi,

I'm developing some reports that may be executed world-wide, so the language of the report may vary. My idea is to use a variable setted as expression with a switch per each text I'm using on the reports and another one that will be used to select which of the multiple cases should be shown. I'm wondering if there's any other option to achieve that behaviour.

That's an illustration of what I'm thinking about to do that:
On the other hand, how can I select the Interface Language of the editor programaticcally?

Hello.

There are two different technology in our product to globalize reports.
One is to use Globalization editor (Designer side) another is to use Globalization Manager (code side).
You could read about this in the Globalizing Reports: Erasing Borders article.
