I have defined a great report chart (of type line) for our business which shows the monthly sum of invoices for the last three year. Works great, have 3 lines. But using a standard style make the 3 lines too similar in the colors. so i tried to use the property LineColor in the property-Grid. I can set the color there, in the designer it seems ok. when i start the preview of the report, the standard colors of the style are back again. what ever i do, i can not set the LineColor. When I set the Property LineStyle to Dot - this works fine, this can bee saved. What can be the problem for the LineColor Property? Thanks for help.

Please set the Allow Apply Style property of the Chart component to false, it will use the specified color.

I have a very similar issue. I created a pie chart containing 5 series (representing the 5 sectors that shall appear in the chart). For each series I defined a dedicated Brush --> Color in the Series Editor.
For the entire chart I set Allow Apply Style to False.
However, I do not get the desired colors.
But I saw that there are quite many "Allow Apply Style" properties and there are some other "Allow Apply ..." properties on top in different places, so I may have an improper combination.
Can you give more details on how to set all these "Allow Apply ..." properties the right way to get the desired colors?
