Conditional Formatting

Post by laducd »

Hi,

I'm familair with the conditional formatting feauture in the report writer where you can format an existing field. What I am having trouble doing is formatting a formula based off of two fields. In essence I am looking to have this:

Field A Field B My Calculation and format=If Field A+Field B=negative,Red Text Color,Green Text Color

So if the result if my field is negative I want the text colored red. If it is positive I would like the text in green. Any thoughts on this? I've attached some screenshots. Thanks.

Best,

Andy Moncion

Hello,

Please try to use the Expression type for Condition and your expression.

Thank you.
