missing data hierarchy

Hello,
i got a Report with the following hierachy:

- 2015-12-21 14_21_09-Unbenannt - Editor.png (6.28 KiB) Viewed 2865 times
The problem now is the designer show mostly only the last 2 hierarchy steps (Supporting Software and Threat)
and missing the dependencies to the top level (Buisness Application and Service)
I added the report with testdata and schema.

Hello,
Please try to set the PrintIfDetailEmpty property to true for the databands.
Thank you.

Now show the designer all data sets even without a threat.
But i need only this data sets with existing threats.

Hello.
Your report is quite complex. There was an optimization that cause this issue.
Please, set the PrintIfDetailEmpty property to true and add Filters for bands to remove unnecessary bands.
Thank you.

Hello,
I carry on the work off my colleague.
i have tested the approach with the filter but the result gets unpredictable.
the report is the same as above and the filter is:
Service.LINK_Service_requires_business_application.Business_application.LINK_Business_application_requires_supporting_software.Supporting_software.Id
==
Service.LINK_Service_requires_business_application.Business_application.LINK_Business_application_requires_supporting_software.Supporting_software.LINK_asset_has_assigned_threat.SourceId
so only services should be listed which are linked to a software with a assigned threat
if i use this filter on the orignial report without "PrintIfDetailEmpty" it should show the same report because all services are linked as i wrote above but the result is drastically cut from 18 pages to 1.
i tested the approach with a less complicated filter on a lower level but with a filter over more then 3 level the result becomes not understandable.
is there a problem with too complicated filter?
kind regards
Julian Pankratz
