Failing connection to an Access 2007-2013 DB

Post by Jennypi »

Hi,

I used to use this connection string to connect to access DBs, but it seems that it's not working with this 2007-2013 Access DB i'm trying with:
Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=....accdb;Persist Security Info=False
I am getting this error message:

Should I use another connector with this version of Access files?
I tried to compact and repair the DB, no change.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please describe your issue in more details. Which version do you use?
Also, if possible, please send us a test database file for analysis.

Thank you.

Hi,

I'm using version 2016.1.1 from 26 february 2016, .Net framework v4.0.30319.
I'm attaching a sample DB and the report.

Thanks.

Hello,

We couldn't reproduce this bug.
Please try to check the last prerelease build.

Thank you.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.
Updating Stimulsoft version did not fix the problem. So I updated the Access database engine from this url, and now it is working perfectly ! :)
