Question about Master Components for data bands....

I'd like to turn the Master Component for a data band on and off based on a condition. Anyone know if this is possible? I looked into setting conditions for the data band component but it's not clear to me if you can control the Master Component in this manner. Perhaps by writing an expression? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Please, explain in what condition do you want to off Master Component?
