There is no cell merging in cross-tab.
Please send us a report template with data. We'll try to find other way.

The previous post is quite old but I'm facing the same problem. I have a table and hte rows break automatically. I have a fix column width which makes the column look quite long. Now if there are the cells with the same value, is it possible to merge them? I tried to create a sample:
