Hi. I'm new with this software, and i have a problem with it: i can't change the report name when saving it. I've been looking for answers here and i came up with the Report Name or Report Alias property of the report.

I've changed that already and the export file name remains the same. How can i fix this?

PS: my version is the 2016.02.16

You can set the following option in the сonfig.xml:
ShowSaveFileDialog = True
With this option, the designer will request a report name when to save a report.

I think i didnt make myself clear when i exposed my problem earlier.
I dont want to save the report under a different name. I want to have 'garbage' in the .mrt file name and then have a readable name when i am in my website exporting the result report.
the tag <ReportName> its supposte to do that 'translation', but its not working for me.

We have added new option AlwaysUpdateReportFileName, which turn of compulsory use of the name and alias for teh saving report.
You can set it in the config.xml file, by default is false.
This option will be available in the next build in the next week.

i've updated the software to the latest version and the tag AlwaysUpdateReportFileName doesnt appear in the config file. Did i do something wrong?

We checked the latest version 2016.1.17 - option is present, see attached screenshot.
