If I set a filter on a databand against a DateTime column, a date picker appears ... but the date format does not use the correct culture. When I select a date, it shows 22.10.2009 even though I am in the en-US culture.

What regional settings are in your system? We checked with American localization settings in Windows. It works right.

I am on a US English system, Windows 7 64-bit, Reports.Web. Dates are formatted correctly when I shown them on a databand ... but they are not shown correctly on any filter control that uses your data picker (see screen shots).

We have checked this issue. Unfortunately, the date format in Designer.Web always dd.MM.yyyy, because Flash does not have access to the system locale settings.

Is there a way to set the locale via an API call to Stimulsoft?

Unfortunately, at this moment it is impossible. We added to our to-do list usage preferences of the web server locale.
