I have a left-justified text control with a border. But I want the text indented a little because it is too close to the border. I tried putting spaces at the beginning of the text in the Expression tab of the Expression Editor. It looks good in the report designer ... but when I hit preview or run the report, the leading spaces seem to be stripped, and the text is show against the left border.

Why is running the report trimming the text? Or is there a way to indent the text a little?

Please, try to use the Margin property of the Text box to "5;0;0;0".
