I have a report that I have borders on the left and right of bands (and some lines in the middle). These work fine, apart from a small issue when the footer is at the bottom of the page. The border is missing in this situation, and I can find no good way to get it back. Indeed, the only way I have found is to turn on borders for the whole page, and that makes the rest of the report look poor as the title is now not separate. Plus it doesn't stretch the lines in the bands.

So, is there a way to tell the bottom band to stretch to the bottom of the page with the footer? Or the footer to stretch up? Or to add something else in to fill the gap?

I have attached a sample that uses the demo data to show what I mean. How can I make those lines run from top to bottom completely?

In this case, you can use the VerticalLinePrimitive with start on the DataBand and end on the Footer.

I tried your suggestion, but it did not get expanded. In making another report, I discovered the "Empty Data" band, and that is the exact solution I was looking for. It literally fills the empty space on the page perfectly, so the lines can be stretched to fit.
