Filter error in Stimulsoft.Reports.JS version 2016.2.3

I am using today the latest version of JS-Designer and Reports.JS:

/*
Stimulsoft.Reports.JS
Version: 2016.2.3
Build date: 2016.10.14
*/

A filtering mechanism that used to work fine in Version 2016.2.1 is not working as excepted in newer version.

Please find attached pdf describing the problem in detail, and example files

Hello, Tor.

Please, change the DataType of the Filter to Expression.
