DesignerControl 2017.1 does not support No RibbonGUI

Hi,

we updated to version 2017.1 and stumbled over the fact, that the StiDesignerControl seems not to support the Windows 7 style without Ribbons anymore.

This breaks our current application design. Please advise.

And in addition, i found that the downloadable documentation hasn't been updated yet. Which is cumbersome as the installation bits do not install any documentation at all.

Sorry, my bad. The designer control still displays a toolbar based UI and not a Ribbon UI.

Thanks

Markus

My original issue with the toolbar only UI in the designer control has been fixed. I tested with the normal "Report.Design()" method instead of the designer control first. And then, you have no API supported way of selecting UI theme Windows 7 but opting for the toolbar mode of the Designer.

What still is an issue is the lack of actual documentation for 2017.1, either online or as PDF.

We are in the middle of updating from 2015.1 to 2017.1 and stumble over incompatibilities due to deprecated or removed functions.

Do you have any kind of migration or update documentation available?
