2018.2.3: Data source filtering breaks in sub report page?

Stimulsoft Web 2018.2.3

If I apply a filter to the same data source in a subreport databand, it affects the databand of the main report page. It is not showing the parent D at all.

Can you please help?

Hello.

You can;t use the same data source on the same data band.
The child band is still the same data band.

You could try to add another data source.
Please, look at the attached report template.

How can I add another data source as a copy of an existing data source? I also use RegData method to populate data sources, would it work correctly then? I use BusinessObjects as data sources.

Hello.

You could get additional information about the Data Source from Other Data Source on the User Manual.

If you use the RegData method it should work right.
