I have a report that uses a date range and a identification number as variables. These are input by the user when the report is loaded.

The goal is allow the user to print reports by a date range (multiple rows) or the identification number (single row).This works in part.

When the report loads it pre-populates the date range with the current date. However, the date range variable is tagged Not Assigned.

If I run the report with a date range it works. When I use the Reset and then enter an Identification number the report still runs by date range.

If I load the report and start with entering the identification number click Submit it pulls one record.

If I click Reset and use the date range it runs by dates. However when I use Reset and then enter the identification number it still pull data based on the date range.

I would like it to do one or the other and reset the values as needed.
