Merge based on tag not working with pdf export

Hi Stimulsoft Team,
We spotted the issue mentioned in the title in 2019.2.1 but it is also not working in 2019.3.5.
We have columns that should get some cells merged based on tag and it works as a charm when we generate the report and show it in the viewer in an asp based website. It is also fine if we export it to html, Excel, Word etc. If we export it to pdf however cells remain separated by line even if text is shown in the middle of the cell so I suppose it is only a rendering issue. It should be easily reproducible. Please let me know if you managed to nail it down.
This is a small part of output pdf. I cannot show more due to the nature of the report.

Thanks for help in advance.
