Is it possible to output a text value rather than an aggregate sum/count value in a summary on the dashboards component?

This seems fairly fundamental to us. We use the dashboards component significantly more than the reports component, and it is possible within the reports component.

For reference, we are looking to do something like this within dashboards where we can output string values of the fields.
