Hard to read OX labels

Hello,

I have a line chart with <timestamp, value> pairs, where the number of timestamps can be from 40 to 500 and the interval is 3 seconds.
For 40 timestamps, the OX labels are too close and hard to read - please check attached file, summary.mrt.
I tried to set "Area->X Axis->Labels->Step" to 2, but in this case all the points will be displayed, and that is a problem when there are more than 100 points - please check attached image, Labels step 2.PNG.

What else may I try for showing as many timestamps as possible, but easy to read, with more space between labels?
For 500 points and no step, there will be shown just some labels, although there is more space available - please check attached image, Labels for 500 points no step.PNG.

Thanks,
Darius

Hello,

Could you please take into consideration to improve the display labels algorithm to use the space more efficiently - many timestamps but easy to read?

Thanks,
Darius
