Re: two cross data bands that matches output
Hi devs,
I have a curious question. In the example above, Why not make the CrossDataBand above (placed in HeaderBand2) the master component of the second databand (rightmost part inside Databand1).
I have tried it but it didn't work. Why is that? What is the rule? Related components must be side by side OR in the case of databand (master-detail), on top of each other?
what I mean is the image attached which was your example.

Hello,
On the HeaderBand2 is not needed master component, it is used only for showing titles without any calculations.
Thank you.

Re: two cross data bands that matches output
Hi,
But I am not using calculations, it is just matching the codes from the crossdataband in HeaderBand2.
I just want to know if two crossdatabands that have a master-detail relationship should be side by side?
Please confirm. I am documenting things.
Thanks a lot

Hi,
So, it's shouldn't be related in the HeaderBand.'
Therefore, the master crossdataband of the detail should be beside it NOT in the headerband.
Ok, I'll take note of that.
Thanks a lot!
