dashboard reports not showing in report viewer

I am using the latest (2023.1.4) Angular report viewer, normal page reports load ok but a simple dashboard report is not showing.
Print Preview shows the expected result but the viewer is blank.

Unfortunately, dashboards are not yet supported in the Reports.Angular product.
We are working on adding dashboards to Angular.

Is this the same for the Reports.JS, dashboards are not supported?
