Key suddenly updated and trial still showing

Hi,

Our key seems to have been updated, because the key in the new keyfile differs from before. However, updating the key in our software does not remove the trial watermark like it did before.

Two questions:
- What prompts a key update from your side? We have the key registered in our software and a sudden change in this key results in our clients getting watermarks where they did not before.
- Why does the "new" key not result in removal of the watermark?
