Hi

I have a databand where I created a calc column that multiplies a numeric field with -1. It shows positive in the databand. This is what I want.

I then added a group footer and I added a Summary field that Sum the reversed value (using sum by the column for the report). The value shown is negative.

what gives?

This is all happening in a Subreport, if that makes a difference.

I tried to sum the original value and I edited to *-1 and even place a - in front. It still shows negative.

any idea what I did wrong?
