Wrong paper size on generated pdfs

Hi,
My customers have started to report a new, previously unknown, error. Generted pdf:s sometimes gets the wrong paper size. The paper size on faulty pdf is very large making the text look very small even though the font size is correct when you display it on screen.
We generate pdf:s automatically on a user selected schedule, but mostly when the user closes the program. I have not been able to reproduce it on computers here in my office in Sweden, but our customer can reproduce it (in Canada). It does not happen every time though, and that makes it more strange. I have attached sample pdf:s both for how a correctly generated report can look like (Custom) and how a erranious report can look like (Scheduled).
The reports relies only on business objects so the data is prepared by the software.
I'm using version 2016.1.
Any ideas what I should check or ask my customer to check?
