Creating reports and dashboards | Stimulsoft community forum

I am working on a report using Stimulsoft Reports and am having trouble connecting to the SQL Server database. Even though I have entered the correct connection information, the report is still unable to access the data.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation and can share a fix?papa's scooperia
Is there any special installation or configuration required for Stimulsoft to connect to SQL Server?

What error does the test connection string give you?

I had the same problem. Check that the connection string is correct, that SQL Server allows remote connections, and that port 1433 is not blocked by the firewall. This is usually the problem with the configuration ragdoll archers
