Oracle connection type

Post by Webinar »

I have installed Stimulsoft Reports.Net and copied Stimulsoft.Report.OracleClient.dll into bin directory. When I launch report designer from window and try to create new connection, Oracle connection type is there for selection. But when I launch report designer from a form in Visual Studio, I cannot find that Oracle connection type any more.
What is wrong in my operation? How to fix that?
Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

The Oracle connection type does not depend on any additional assembly to appear in the list of connection types.

Make sure your code does not disable it.
Make sure both designers use the same version of the Stimulsoft assemblies. Check the references of the project that opens the designer from a form.
Check whether the options are loaded from a configuration file in one of the cases.

If the problem remains, please send us a small sample project. We will check it.

Thank you.
