Hi,

i have a report with a clustered columns chart on it which shows the number of persons on a specific location. For each location i'm getting a bar in my chart.

The problem is, that the number of locations can grow to more than hundreds and the chart is unusable because you cannot read the labes etc.

Is there a possibility to limit the number of "arguments" in a chart and if this number has passed an new page with the next bunch of arguments for the chart is generated in the ouput.

Unfortunately, our chart hasn't this possibility. For this you must splitt your datasource on two or three parts and work with them separately.

So i have to figure out how much information (rows or bars) fits on one page and then if the rowcount of my dataset execceds that number i have to do what? I do not know the rowcount when i design the report. It depends on the data my customer fills in the database.

Don't tell me i have to limit the number of rows manually. In my opinion this makes the use of autoscale of the x axis not very usefull. Is it possible to group the data by rowcount and put the chart into a databand?
