I am also experiencing a StackOverFlowException with one of my reports.
I have traced it back to prerelease Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2007.10.03 R2005.
My report previews fine with prerelease Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2007.10.02 R2005, but from Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2007.10.03 R2005 onwards my report crashes Designer.
I also have a .Net wrapper application that uses the WinForms preview component - this application also crashes when running a preview of my report.
I have tried each prerelease from Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2007.10.03 R2005 to Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2007.10.10 R2005 and each set of dlls crash my report.
I can provide the report if needed.

I also informed the Stimulsoft support about this bug. I think they work on it and we will have a solution very soon...
For me, it was a simple report with a databand and a childband. If I set the PrintOn property to OnlyFirstPage on the childband, the StackOverFlowException is thrown. When I set this property to AllPages, there is no exception.

This morning I sent tech support a sample app and report that produces the stack overflow. Hopes this helps track down the problem.
