Hyperlink export to pdf
Hyperlink export to pdf
Hello,
I know this have been asked several times before, but I would like to know if there has been a solution yet.
When I add into a text a hyperlink and I write it this way: text <a href="www.google.com">Google link text</a> text.
The link works in the preview.
It also works in the pdf printer preview but the link does not work in the pdf itself.
Is there a solution to it?
I really need the hyperlinks to work in a pdf.
I really appreciate your support.
Thank you very much.

Re: Hyperlink export to pdf
Hello,
this release is from January 25th. So 2 days before may question.
I might be stupid, but I am not able to recognize a connection to my question of the bug fixes.
1. We fixed a bug related to the large size of the borders of components.
2. We fixed a problem related to displaying labels in 3D dashboard charts.
3. We fixed a bug related to the appearance of an empty string in data sources.
4. We fixed a bug related to the use of namespace in XML files that are used as a data source for a report or dashboard.
5. We fixed a bug related to saving a report data dictionary or a template that contains an Excel data source with a link to report resources.
6. We fixed a bug related to filling in report variables that are used in queries to the data warehouse.
7. We fixed a bug related to starting a project that uses Vue.js components.
Unfortunately I have dozens of documents with hyperlinks, that are required.
I really appreciate a short term feedback, if and how to solve the problem.

Hello,
Could you explain in more detail what you mean by - "but the link does not work in the pdf itself."?
Thank you.

Re: Hyperlink export to pdf
Hello Lech,
when I am in the preview of the pdf printing the hyperlinks are marked.
My mouse cursor changes into a hand and I can click on the link and switch to the page where the hyperlink is leading to.
That is what I expect a hyperlink should do.
But when I now save the very same document as a pdf, the hyperlinks are marked in blue and underlined, but not active.
I cannot click on them and switch to the page they are supposed to lead to.
I cannot do anything with the hyperlink. It looks like regular text just in blue and underlined.
It does not matter which kind of pdf printer or viewer I am using.
I know this has been an issue before and asked several times.
But if we enter hyperlinks in our documents we are expecting them to work after the documents has been exported to pdf.
So if you have a solution for that, this would be great.
I really appreciate it.
