Way to render color blocks on report

Post by lucasrinaldi »

I have a demand to build a report, but I am not sure if that's possible to do what I am told.
I need to render a block with the color the customer has previously saved on the database as shown below.

Is there a way to achieve that?

Hello,

How color is stored in the database?

As a way, you can apply color in the BeforePrint event.

Thank you.

Can't you provide some screenshots with instructions? This is a little vague.
I need to render a squared HTML block with colors inside. The color is stored on our database as HEX.
So we can render something like what I've uploaded.

PS: the image that I uploaded is made in photoshop, not an actual report.

Well it worked, thanks!

Now I have another question:
How can we implement the same as this picture using Stimulsoft?
Keep in mind that inside the boxes we could have multiple codes.
This is a risk matrix, to mitigate risks and evaluate opportunities.
Do you think that is possible to achieve this?

Hello,

Depends on the data structure. Please check the Cross-Data components.

Thank you.
