Hi,
Here are the charts. Report.png shows what I expected after your update. The second shows what I would
optimally prefer. Here the years are placed at the beginning of each year. That way anyone estimating the
price in the chart, can say for example the price around the end of June 2009 was 13 Euros. With the first
chart this is not possible because the indicated year could be at any point in that year.

Hello.

You are using area and line series. Unfortunately, these series are build with discrete set of values. And when you set number of Ticks the set of arguments is split on this amount of segments and the edge value is taken.
It's impossible to get first value of the year because the X-axis is not a time line but the set of values that is in your Data Source.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. What charts do support X-axis as time line?

Hello,

Can you please send us a sample chart (excell or any sample) which shows how it should look like for analysis.

Thank you.

Hi,

See the post from Friday August 30th. The 2nd chart is what I would like. To be able to set the labels to the first datapoint in each year so that people can accurately read off the price value.

Hello.

Sorry, but we need to see the real chart, but not the image. If it's possible to create such chart in Excel, we will try to add it to our products.

Thank you.
