Report Designer Error

May I replace existing DLL's with newer ones or may I install them appart?

I executed directly Designer from new version and still having issues. Even if I create a new report, I get the exception when I'm adding a new Datasource (Oracle).

What else May I try? Could be related to installation? I mean... I have installed versions 2015.1, 2015.2, 2016.1 (Trials) and then 2016.1 and 2016.1 v[25/03/2016] (Licensed). What I have installed now it's only 2016.1 and it's revision.

Hello,

Most probably, there is a conflict of the different versions. Please try to remove from GAC all old versions, you can use the Installer.exe utility.
Also, please try to remove the settings folder by the following path:
[C]:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\Stimulsoft\

We have checked on several PC and we couldn't reproduce this bug.
Please clarify do you use the direct Oracle adapter in the designer or copy your additional Oracle adapter from the previous version.

Hi Aleksey,

I think I have some hint...

I found another Exception, and it's telling me that comes from Oracle.DataAccess... dll. I have to use another library to connect to my Database (In other old posts from me you can see how I solved that on previous version). How can I force the designer to use this dll? I have copied it on the bin folder. May I do something else to make it working?

Hello,

In last builds all assemblies on first finding in GAC and then in bin folder. For Oracle connection it is:
System.Data.OracleClient.dll
Oracle.DataAccess.dll
Devart.Data.Oracle.dll
Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.dll

Also, please remove all additional - Stimulsoft.Report.Oracle....dll assemblies from bin folder.

Sorry but I don't understand what you mean... I have my Oracle.ManagedDataAcces registered in GAC and there's no Oracle dll in my bin folder (Just the one I want to use).

Can you please re-explain me what to do? Sorry for not understanding what you mean...
