Master Band - Sum of Detail Band by Group and Total
I am confused. In the last example report I posted the totals in the two group footers and the footer were displaying correctly with:
{Sum(MasterDataBand:DetailDataBand,Order_Details.Quantity)}
I added the {Totals.Sum(DetailDataBand, Order_Details.Quantity)} field to each section to show that it is only providing the correct result for the inner-most group.
Aleksey, I appreciate your response but your example report does not address my problem. You changed the display but that is what was already working, and now the footer band at the end does not display the correct total. The totals display correctly in each section with {Sum(MasterDataBand:DetailDataBand,Order_Details.Quantity)} but I am unable to successfully use those totals in an event or condition expression. To demonstrate the correct use of aggregates in a condition, can you please alter your example report to:
OrderIDGroupFooterBand - Highlight the quantity in Red if the total is greater than 50
CustomerIDGroupFooterBand - Highlight the quantity in Red if the total is greater than 200
MasterFooterBand - Highlight the quantity in Red if the total is greater than 50000
I have completed my evaluation and have purchased Stimulsoft Reports, but I need to understand how to correctly use Master-Detail aggregates in events and condition expressions.
Thank you very much.
