Re: Chart and dates
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Basically I have a list of dates and values like:
Date Value
1/1/2011 10
1/3/2010 15
1/4/2010 33
1/7/2010 29
I would like to dsiplay this in a chart that displays the chart by month in the X-Axis and display all months between 1/1/2011 and 1/7/2011 including the months that don't have data.
The data is coming from a stored procedure from a system that I don't have control over so I don't have any way to prepare the data on the db.
Also at this point I don't have any possibility to modify the data before it's send to the report.
I'm looking for a way to set this up in the report.
What options do I have?
I noticed that there is a new property XAxis.DateTimeStep, can that help?
Thank you,
Regards Joakim

Re: Chart and dates
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
Was not not able to get the 'XAxis.DateTimeStep' step to work in the web designer.
It looks like the 'Stimulsoft.Report.Chart.StiTimeDateStep' is Always set to 'None'.
I'm running the latest pre-release build 2013.1.1510
I tried it the stand alone designer at it worked, but it displays the average for the missing column
It would be great if it would be an option where you could say it should display 0 instead.
Regards Joakim

Re: Chart and dates
Hello again,
I played a little bit more in the stand alone designer and noticed a problem.
In the attached image you that February missing the data i under January.
And once again it would be great if there was an option to display 0 instead of the average value in April.
Thank you,
Regards Joakim

Re: Chart and dates
Hello,
Will you look into the issue in the web designer as well?
The ability to show Null values would be great, we are really missing this and now have to use other solution for many of the 'trend over time' kind of requirements.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you,
Regards Joakim
