Problem connecting to mySQL

Hi,

Its me sonam again.

I am registering dll by using command Line to register dll regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2013.1 Trial\Bin\Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll. I also kept it inside Bin folder where i installed Designer.exe

but its unable to find path and giving message 'Entry point is incorrect'.

please give me direction to go ahead, how should i add it in my Tool?

Hi,

I tried in this way
1. Start Configurator.exe and click on File -> New
2. Click on Edit -> Add Services and select the file "Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll" (built according to the readme.txt file from MySqlDatabase pack)
3. Two services appear as checked (StiMySqlDatabase and StiMySqlAdapterService) in Select Service dialog. Click Ok in this dialog.
4. Click File -> Save as and create a config file named 'Stimulsoft.Report.config' under 'C:\Program Files\Stimulsoft\StimulReport.Net\Bin' where Designer.exe is installed.
5. Close Service Configurator and start Designer.exe.
6. If I go to Dictionary panel in the right and click on New Item -> New Database I still do not see MySql Connection.

I also placed the following dlls where i launched designer:
Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll
MySql.Data.dll

but still not able to see MysqlConnection option when i am selecting Distionary->New connection
Please guide me how exactly i should go ahead??

Hi,

please go through on my requirement
i am using Microsoft Visual studio 2010
Database : Mysql Express version 10.5(Sqlyog)
Reporting Tool : Stimulsoft Reports.Net 2013.1 Trial.

How should i take step to include MysqlConnection option in Dictionary when i select the New connection.?

please check the Stimulsoft Report.config file. That how i have added assembly.

Hello,

Please try to make the following steps:
- download the last prerelease build from 12-Jul-2013 from our site in Prerelease builds section.
- copy the .dll file (Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll) which we send you on support system in the bin directory in which place the Designer.exe.
- run the designer.

i am sorry still things not working on track

Compiled code Add dll inside Bin folder where Designer.exe placed.
but not getting MySqlConnection option.

kindly check screen shot of it.

please let me know whether i am doing wrong??

The problem is not in dll , the problem is why mysqlconnection option is not showing after adding dll.
i kept stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll inside Bin folder run Designer.exe

but still option is not coming Mysqlconnection in the list of 'Select Type of connection'

what is the problem exactly i just want to know?

Hello,

The Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll is compiling for each version has its own.
In previous post we send for you .dll file for last build - version 2013.2.1612
If you use another version (on your screenshot it is 2013.1.1600) then you need compile Stimulsoft.Report.MySqlDatabase.dll for this version.
