Chart Series Conditional Formatting

Hi,

Is there a way to use an expression or code to change the colour of a chart series.

My intention is to set the colour of bars to say green when the value is less than a parameter value and red when its above the parameter value.

I've tried using the designer, but the chart crashes when using the {variable} syntax.
