Painting problems with imported fonts
Painting problems with imported fonts
Good day,
I have imported a few fonts (agfa rotis, swiss, zurch and human) and am experiencing the following problem:
The text that uses the custom font seems to have a border painted around the edge of the text in the last used color.
This occurs when using either normal or html enabled text boxes.
Setting the font back to a standard one (arial, verdana) corrects the problem; but it occurs again when setting it back to another imported font. All the font types I have used are TTF.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Regards
David

Hello,
We made some improvements in that direction in release 2009.3.
Please check the latest build or release 2009.3.
If the issue is still present, please send to us an example of font file for analysis.
Thank you.

Hi,
I have downloaded the 2009.3 release. The problem is almost fixed. I can use my fonts, but the moment I set the Bold property to true, the black borders come back. I will attach a font file as requested.
Regards
David

Hello,
We examined the file you sent. This file made in version 2009.2.500.
Most likely you are not properly updated.
Please try to updating again.
Here is the tips how to install registered non Demo version (the same steps are required for update to the new version for each our product) of the Stimulsoft Reports.Net. Please do the following steps:
1) Remove from GAC installed dlls of the Stimulsoft Reports.Net. You can access it with help of Windows Explorer. Just open the following folder:
c:\Windows\assembly.
2) Replace all 'dll' files in the following folder C:\Program Files\Stimulsoft Reports.Net 200x.x Trial\Bin\ with their new versions.
3) If you want to install updated dlls into the GAC then you can drag them to 'c:\Windows\assembly' folder.
4) Delete 'Stimulsoft' Tab from ToolBox in Visual Studio. And add it again.
5) Delete Stimulsoft Reports.Net dlls from the Reference part of your Application and then add those references again to the new Stimulsoft Reports.Net dlls.
If these steps do not bring the required result and version of dlls will be still the same, then just scan your computer for Stimulsoft*.dll files and delete all of them manually.
Please let us know about your results.
Thank you.

Painting problems with imported fonts
Hi,
Thanks that worked like a charm.
I have another unrelated problem though. I am trying to set the formatting of the series labels - but when I generate the report the labels remain at the default style settings and when I go back into the designer, my style settings have gone.
Any ideas?
Regards,
David

Hi David,
In case if formatting persisted, please change the style of the chart at first.
Thank you.
