Images from variable or business object

Hello,

we've tried to display images from variables (string) and business object string properties in a report
but couldn't get it to work. The data is correctly base64 encoded but the images won't display
in the rendered report (when using a datasource the images display correctly).

Is this a issue/bug or are we missing something?

Please send us a sample report with test data for analysis.
