Issue with Group Headers

Post by Crystole Roberts »

I entered the below topic regarding the behavior I was seeing on column headers, and the suggestion was to not use column headers. However, the same behavior is happening for group headers.

I am referring the the bottom section, labeled "Historic Matches", which is using group headers, but still acting in the way described below.

I have a report with three data sources, with column headers for the second and third data bands. The problem is that on the last data band, the column header was not printing if the data wrapped to page two. So, I set it to print on all pages, which makes it print on page two if the data wraps to page two; however, if the last data section begins printing on page two, it's column header prints twice- once with no data, then it prints the data it should. What setting can fix this? I have attached the .mrt file. There is also a pdf with an example of the header issue

Hello,

Sorry, can you provide data for your report, which reproduces the issue?

Thank you.

I am attaching the data that is sourcing the two pages I attached to my original post. However, the headers are only behaving like this when the historic match section begins on a new page. If I choose to not print on all pages, though, when the data wraps, there are no headers. So, to solve that, I select to print on all pages, and then this happens. Thank you for your help with this!

Just checking for reply, now that I attached data at your request. This is for an overdue client deliverable, so I really need to get this resolved ASAP. Thanks!

We made some improvements in that direction.
Please check the next prerelease build from 26-Jul-2010 when it will be available and let us know about the result.
