Sub-Report won't render

I'm having an issue with the Designer program on the latest release ("Stimulsoft Reports.JS 2016.2 Official Release (Windows Installer)"), whenever I try to use a sub report component it won't render the data from the assigned page in the preview (in fact, it seems like the page is not being assigned at all).

If I place the subreport component inside a databand (for the sake of nested databands, my goal with this report), the databand itself no longer renders on the preview at all.

I already tried previewing it with the designer tool in the latest pre-release build too, to no avail.
