DataGridControl Set the filter

Hi All,
i am trying to set up the filter in the DataGridControl and i was looking the Demo of the Stimulsoft.Net in the folder Dialog there is n example "Grid" how set up the filter in the DataGridControl and playing with it when i insert in the TextBox "Filter" this sample "Region=''WA" and click the Button Set Filter did not happen anything .
Did i wrong to insert in the TextBox "Filter" a wrong parameter or else?
