Appearnce problem in runtime and printing

Hello all

I don't know why i don't see any effects that i did on the controls in my report in run time, for example: i don't see the shadow that i put on my text boxes in my report, also background color that i put in the square control in my report not appear in run time or on the printing.

Also when i print directly in the run time the report appear much smaller that what i see in the screen, although if i save the report to PDF format, everything appear (shadow, background color) and when i print the report, the report appear exactly in the right size that i chose.
