Deleting Dictionary Variables

Hi, I've added a few variables to document design and want to tidy them up. Is there a way to delete unwanted variables?

There us a Delete item in the context menu.

Yes we do, as part of our ticketing system called SRO4 from Toptix.
I've tried right mouse clicking and only get options to add a new category, new variable, Expand All and Collapse All.
I know it's not any type of inconvenience however I do like to tidy up after creating a variable I later do not need.

I've spoken to Toptix and they have confirmed that the right click delete facility on the variables is disabled.

Please would you be able to advise how they could enable this delete facility?

Our customers can make different changes of our product and if you get any issue with our components inside there product, you should contact for support the developers of the application that you are using.
