Change Tracking

hi,
we've been using Stimulsoft as an embedded document designer for a while, its working really well.
we're now looking to extend it and add in change tracking and version management.
Plan is to store historic versions of the MRT's when they are edited along with a timestamp/username.

but is there a good way to compare two mrts (ie the previous version to current version) and get a user friendly list of changes?
Technically we could text-compare the files but this wouldnt be friendly to end users.
