E2 expression issue

Post by Chads »

I have a report i am editing that is inside E2 (ERP Software) and has a report designer.

I am trying to edit a report that has the following Expression:

{LaborDet.TotalEstHrs*(LaborDet.QtyOrd/LaborDet.QtyToMake)}

This returns the following values:

{25.5*(6/12)} which should return 12.75, but i can not get it to show anything but 0.00

If i swap the last expression and make it (12/6), it returns the correct value 51.00.

What am i doing wrong.

Is there some setting that will only return values bigger than 1.00??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thx

Hello Chad,

Thank you for the email.

Unfortunately, we do not provide support for E2 Shoptech. Yes, our report designer is embedded into it but
1. We do not provide support for customers of apps where our tool is integrated. If you have issues with our tool they should send questions on behalf of you.
2. They may say that it is not their responsibility but this is not true. They should support you and we will be involved with this but only they should send requests because only they can say how our tool work in their app.

We are getting lots of requests from E2 Shoptech customers and we answer them the same.

Thank you for understanding.

I am not asking for support, I am just looking for insight as to what I may be doing wrong.

If anyone has any idea what the possible error could be, I would greatly appreciate it.

Unfortunately E2 Shoptech is not much help, and it looks like I am on my own.

All they want to do is charge us for simple issues??

Thx

Hello,

They have to support you because it is their responsibility.

Thank you.

This is very strange and unfair from their side because they get support from us with no additional charge.
