When Json DS is changed datatypes are lost

Columns which I have defined as datetime are being detected as string, and properties that were object types are also being changed as string
Is there any way for the datatypes to persist? did I miss something?

We made some improvements in that direction in last builds. Please check the last build.

If the issue still present, please send us a sample report with test data for analysis.
